Situated at the heart of the Haut Jura Natural Park, this hostel lies in a peaceful valley within the Les Rousses ski resort, the birthplace of skiing in France, and just 3,5km from Les Rousses village.  The hostel is characterised by its tranquility, simplicity, authenticity and respect for the environment.  The well built hostel, formerly a mill, which has 45 beds shared between 10 rooms is built alongside a stream (the Chaille), and on the edge of a forest.
Visitors to the hostel delight in the beauty and conservation of the natural environment.  In every season the calm of the forest, the gentle curves of the countryside and the pleasant sounds of rural life constitute ideal surroundings for relaxation and an escape from the stresses of daily life.
Inside, the hostel is full of rustic Jurassic charm: the space, bright colours, cleanliness, wooden clad walls and comforting warmth of the fireplace create a friendly, family atmosphere.
Great importance is attached to the protection of the environment, fair trade and human rights as is evident in the daily routine of the hostel and recognised by the 'Green Label' (le LABEL VERT).
It is a no-smoking hostel.
